Meet more Sopo volunteers!

What do you do at Sopo?
Turn wrenches, help people keep their bikes on the road, the Alternative Life Cycles program and helping with long term shop planning.

What's your favorite part about doing stuff here?
The instant gratification of seeing someone with a fixed bike or a new bit of knowledge.

What's the craziest thing you've ever seen at Sopo?
Watching my children invest themselves in our community and neighborhood. Realizing the power of locally grown efforts. Crazy, amazing stuff.

What's the craziest thing you've ever seen at LIFE?
Just one?

What was your first bicycle?
A '78ish Huffy Thunder Road. Sweet banana seat and built like a tank. http://www.bmxmuseum.com/bikes/huffy/4431

What is/are your favorite...

Burrito filling(s):
El Myr chicken with black beans and green sauce

Lebowski quote:
"You're not wrong Walter. You're just an a..hole."

Frosty beverage:
Shiner Bock

Bands:
Yes

What's your deal? (school, work, hobbies, etc):
Offerings to the god of speed, making the kind of world I want to live in, cooperative schools, crackpot inventors and doomed causes, single malt whisky, motorcycle racing, bicycle riding, alleycats, people who get that kids are cool.

Any parting words?
Come to kindly terms with your ass, for it bears you. -John Muir (The Volkswagen guy, not the preservationist)
