East Atlanta Strut Art Auction This Saturday, Volunteers Needed!

This Saturday, Sopo is honored to run and benefit from the East Atlanta Strut Art Auction!  We could use your help with two things: Getting the Word Out and Volunteering on the Day of.  Or...come on by and bid on an item.  We've got fun stuff for cheap!

1. GET THE WORD OUT.  The Auction will be at the Graveyard Tavern, from 1 pm until 6 pm.  We've got fun items for cheap, including an R. Land "Pray for Atlanta" piece, pet care supplies, personal wellness gift certificates, and bicycles!  Items are grouped by category, and each category will have a different auction ending time, beginning at 4:30 pm.  So if you don't get the yoga class, you still have a chance to get the case of wine.  Or...BUY IT NOW...instead of waiting until the end, nab what you must have at 75% of the retail value.  We'll take cash, check, or credit card on site.

2. VOLUNTEER.
10 am - 12 pm ... Arrange auction items at Graveyard, pick up donations from Artists Market at the Strut.
12 pm - 6 pm ... Answer questions from bidders, pack up BUY IT NOW items, collect and distribute items as category bidding times end, take payments.
2 pm - 6 pm ... OR BE AT THE SOPO SHOP!  We're still open on Saturday!
6 pm - 7 pm ... Clean up.

We certainly don't expect anyone to volunteer for the whole 6 hr block there in the middle of the activity.  Whatever time you can give is just fine!
