Light Up The Night Atlanta

Last Friday night the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition sponsored an event called "Light Up The Night."  ABC was promoting safety while riding at night.  That means have some lights and be visible to other vehicles.  They were giving away bike lights, front and rear, that can easily clip on to bikes.  After gathering at Woodruff Park, there was a group ride, courteous mass style, to Castleberry Berry Hill for their Le Flash Atlanta event.

There were a good amount of Sopo faces at Woodruff Park.  It was good to see the Sopo community out to support a great event that the Atlanta Bicycle Campaign put on.  There were also an appearance by some of our friends from Shift.  As it was getting dark, the crowd rode towards Castleberry Hill.  We made 2 loops around checking out the art installations for the Le Flash event.  There were a lot of people out that night, it was great weather for it.  To end the ride, there was a contest for brightest outfit and brightest bike.  When riding at night please use some lights, it makes for a safer ride when you are seen by other vehicles.
